About Us

Coxlodge Allotments is a site of over 100 plots (full and half). Alongside fruit, vegetable and flower growing there are plots with bee hives and chick coops. We also have a number of pigeon lofts and successful pigeon racing clubs.

The allotment is overseen by the Coxlodge Allotments Association Committee who meet on a regular basis. The Committee ensures that the site is run correctly within the City Council guidelines, and also discusses how to improve the site for all tenants.

We welcome anyone who wants to sample the good life. Caring for an allotment plot involves a lot of work - some say that in the Summer you have to dedicate a minimum of 8 hours a week! Never underestimate weeds - they are not your friend and creep up behind you when you're not looking.

The allotments has a shop which is open every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 12pm and stocks everything that is needed for growing vegetables, fruit and flowers.
